With 20+ years in recruitment, working in-house and agency, and across PLC and SME markets nationally and internationally, I have seen the good, the bad and the ugly that the recruitment industry has to offer.
I’ve recruited everything from multi-lingual sales directors and entrepreneurial finance leaders, to highly technical network architects and innovative business change managers.
During those 20+ years everyone, at some point, has been frustrated, disappointed or even downright annoyed with the recruitment process.
I wanted to change that, so first I set up my own agency to try and improve things, but found I was delivering a better quality service within a broken system – putting lipstick on the pig, as a former colleague used to say – and I wanted to do more.
